damaged musculoskeletal tissue, including tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and bone.
What Are Stem Cells and How Do They Work?
Stem Cells are unique cells with the ability to develop into various types of cells in the body. They play a crucial role in growth, repair, and regeneration by replacing damaged or lost cells, making them essential for maintaining healthy tissues and organs.
Stem cells support tissue repair through several mechanisms, including reducing inflammation with their anti-inflammatory activity, regulating the immune system through their immunemodulating capacity, and stimulating regeneration by promoting the growth of new, healthy cells. Together, these functions enhance the body’s natural healing processes.
